“Kade & Cassidy’s Story”
The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) has released the first video in its Farm Safety Series, featuring young farmers Cassidy and Kade Smith. The twin siblings share how a serious motorbike accident on their family farm became a turning point and how the right safety equipment can significantly affect the outcome of an accident.
This video also highlights how the next generation is helping to challenge the traditional ‘she’ll be right’ mindset by promoting safer work practices which WorkSafe encourages. Keep the conversation about farm safety going.
